We were lucky enough to get to go to the cabin again for conference. I wish it would always be our turn over conference! It is so relaxing and just the right atmosphere to really pay attention and listen to all the good counsel. We, of course, had packets for the kids and they loved coloring the ties. The girls decided to tackle a 72 hour kit project... adding our food to our kits... while the men were at priesthood. Since Norm and Riley weren't there and Tanner had just broken his foot the "men" consisted of Cole and Grandpa. It was Cole's first time and it was fun for him to go with his Grandpa. They got to go to the Paris Tabernacle (in Paris, Idaho). He told me when he got home that two hours goes pretty fast if you take notes! The kids (and well, all of us, actually) loved playing with Ryder. He's getting to big and fun. Someone was always waiting their turn to hold and play with him. We are always grateful for the time we have at the cabin and of course for conference.
