On Veteran's Day Cole's school did a big program. He invited Norm's parents, Norm's Dad served in the military for many, many years. They lived overseas quite a bit and he served in Vietnam. Norm's Mom was on her own a lot. I truly appreciate what they sacrificed for our country. It means a lot that people, then and now, are willing to do that for all of us. I think Veteran's Day should be a bigger holiday. We should celebrate that as much as we do Independence Day. So it was neat that Cole's school did this program. The band, chorus, drama club, orchestra all participated. They did a slide show and had the boy scouts perform the Flag Ceremony. I guess they usually get some veteran's to do the flag but they were booked!

I totally agree! That is wonderful that they did that...and how cool that Cole plays the violin. I'm jealous! :>
