My Tongue is a Mommy

So, this picture has nothing to do with my post but I was trying to find one of Tenley and I found this one. We went to an Angel's baseball game in california this summer and she was totally enthralled with the peanuts. She stayed busy with that task for a long time!

Tenley is my child who says the cutest things. The others did too but more so when they were under 4 years old. She is seven and still coming up with some pretty clever stuff. It is nice that my "baby" keeps up some of this stuff. Since she's our last I'd like to enjoy her "littleness" for a long time!

So, yesterday I was doing Tenley's hair before school and she was looking at herself in the mirror. She says, " You know what Mom? Sometimes I think that my tongue is a Mommy and all my little teeth are her babies. And they grow up and get big and have to move out so that's why we lose our teeth"

I said, "Hmmm.... you might be right!"

When I read that about Tenley it made me laugh. Kids say the funniest things and now that she is getting older her comments are getting more clever.

Classic Tenley! This made my day and everyone I have shared this with say how creative she is. We are lucky to have such wonderful kids in our family!
